The Agency actively engages in conferences organized by the Asia Pacific Quality Network (APQN), fostering knowledge exchange and collaboration among quality assurance agencies in the Asia-Pacific region. Since 2017, the representatives of the Agency have participated in APQN conferences across diverse locations, including Russia (Moscow), India (Nagpur), Colombo (Sri Lanka), Singapore (online/face-to-face), and Bangladesh (Dhaka), with the most recent event taking place on November 2nd – 4th, 2023. This specific conference centered around the theme “Innovation and Sustainable Development in Higher Education.” Pavel Stepanov, Director on Development, had the honor of presenting Russian Register’s contributions.
Highlighting the commitment to transformative education, the Agency showcased the results of its research in the quality assurance domain during this conference. A notable achievement resulting from international collaborations is the prestigious 2023 AAC APQN Award for International Cooperation in QA. This recognition celebrates the successful partnership between ANQA (Armenia) and the Agency of RR, bolstering the Agency’s capabilities to implement quality assurance programs and projects aligned with global best practices.
Looking ahead, the Agency is eager to host the international conference in 2024, aiming to bring together experts and stakeholders from around the world. This opportunity not only reflects the commitment of the Agency to driving positive change in quality assurance but also signifies its willingness to serve as a hub for international collaboration. In line with this, the Agency has received approval for Expressions of Interest (EoI) to co-host the 2024 APQN Annual Conference (AAC) and Annual General Meeting (AGM). This endeavor further underscores the dedication of the Agency to advancing the field of quality assurance on a global scale.
