The international standard ISO 45001:2018 “Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. Requirements and Guidance for Use” is actively used by enterprises in occupational safety processes under the management of organizations, taking into account the environment in which they operate. In 2024, Tver State Technical University trusted the Russian Register, inviting it to confirm the compliance of the occupational health and safety management system for the Institute of Nano- and Biotechnologies with the requirements of this international standard. The Institute, within the structure of TSTU, implements projects that contribute to the technological sovereignty of the Russian Federation, for which it is important to demonstrate the provision of safe and favorable working conditions, prevention of workplace injuries and health damage, and the adoption of preventive measures to improve occupational safety indicators.
At the first Academic Council of TSTU in 2025, A.Yu. Kulikov, General Director of LLC “Russian Register – Baltic Inspection,” summarized the results of this decisive step by the Institute’s team, congratulated all participants in the process, and presented the Certificate of Compliance, hoping for a reduction in workplace risks and the creation of safer working conditions.
